O’Leary (West Prince Horsemen’s Club Matinee): Wednesdays at 6:30 – check contact for definite dates.

Matinee Racetrack Challenge Series 2010

PLEASE NOTE AN IMPORTANT CHANGE: All horses for any Challenge Series race MUST be entered by 8 p.m. TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE. Horses not entered will not race and will not receive points or allowance.

The P.E.I Department of Agriculture, through the office of the Matinee Racetrack Development Project, will provide an incentive of $25 per horse per participant at each Challenge Series Race.
Horses who participate in races on these dates will earn points towards finals at Summerside Raceway. The top eighteen point earners (six per division) will race in the finals for $70, a cooler and the Championship trophy presented to the winner of one division on an annual rotating basis for each of the three divisions.
To be eligible to race in the finals, a horse must have competed in at least 3 of the above events, at a minimum of two different tracks. Drivers of horses in the Final must have participated in no more than five (5) pari-mutuel starts to be eligible.
