PEI Colt Stakes Announces Matinee Series

The PEI Colt Stakes Association, along with sponsors Shurgain Feeds and Pedigree Matching Globetrotter will be conducting a two and three-year-old series at the five matinee tracks this summer as part of their 75th anniversary celebrations. According to the Association, race dates are as follows:
June 13 – O’Leary
June 17 – Pinette – CANCELLED
August 1 – Alberton
August 9 – Tyne Valley – CANCELLED
August 30 – Kensington
The finals will be held September 20th at the CDPEC.
These are Challenge Series race dates and therefore, anyone travelling more than 30 km. one way will receive travel allowance.
Horses will be racing for prizes, must be paid into the PEI Colt stakes to be eligible and must race in their own names. Entries must be made to the respective tracks no later than two days in advance. Eligibility and tattoos will be checked by a representative of the Colt Stakes Association.
